Milan - Lima: Design as a tool for Fusion and Integration between Cultures - CENTRALE DISTRICT

The exhibition is conceived with the aim of integrating the concept of design that is conceived, designed and produced between the two countries in the social fabric of the City of Milan in order to understand the aspirations of fusion between the two cultures with particular attention to techniques and materials. Architectural projects, light design, interior and exterior furnishings will be displayed in the spaces of the Consulate General of Peru in Milan. The exhibition is composed of a group of Peruvian designers who have already presented the works in coordination with the Peruvian Consulate in Milan. There selection of the works was carried out mainly on the topic of socio-cultural identity and its interpretation through art, design and contemporary architecture. The final result was a sort of cultural syncretism, materially shaped in a new contemporary language. All conceived as an instrument of communication and diffusion of the Peruvian Cultural Identity in Italy and in Europe. The design becomes a means of demonstration of multicultural integration, through the art and design that develops between Peru and Italy.
