Choosing an original vintage poster for a current interior design, isn't so easy as expected. From choosing the location to the selction of the poster, from the methods of conservation to that of exposition, from the placement to the lights, all that is the topic of a new and exciting debate.

While we watch an old big size advertising poster we become fascinated by images and contents of the message. If it is for sale we immediately imagine how fine would get it and hang it on one of our home wall. Unfortunately, after that entusiasm and regardless to the price, we start thinking how difficult would be have a frame for it, where and how hanging it and how lighting it, and so we go home giving up our dream.

Discussing the problem in a gallery specialized in old vintage poster represents a unique chance to observe directly different solutions that could be adopted and to discuss that topic with some particular experts.

During the week will be held an entrance free exhibition of old vintage posters and their use in interior design. On Thursday the 11th a conference will be with some experts of vintage posters conservation, exhibition and lighting. The talk will be both in english and in italian. We are grateful if you call or write for reservation because the location is not too large. At the end of the conference we all will have a round of drink with the historical Italian vermouth Punt e Mes…directly from the sixties !!
