Anotherview is a “borderline“ project consisting of the creation of “digital nomad windows“, each of which tells a day in the life of a different place in the world. Each “Day“ has been captured from a fixed point of view by continuously filming for 24 hours in very high resolution and is part of a future 365-day catalog of unique views selected following narrative criteria that both address problems and questions regarding the enviromental issues and the problems connected to the continuous and intense process of urbanization in our civilization but also simply trying to “crystallize“ the beauty of a place at a precise moment in its history. An Anotherview window on a wall allows you to imagine being in a different place. in a “different“ time with respect to one's everyday life, immersing ourselves in a sort of ontological “estrangement“. At the same time, the contemporary vision of a past day that still seems happening today produces a sort of “nostalgia for the present“, a form of romantic reaction to the digitalization of our social life achieved thanks to the use of the most advanced video shooting techniques. Represented by Galleria Rossana Orlandi in Milan and Gallery All in Beijing and Los Angeles. Anotherview collective took part in important international art fairs such as Art Basel / Designmiami, PAD London, LA Art Show, Jing Art Beijing. Their works are present in important public and private collections. For Daimaru Anotheview collective have selected two different and “opposite” views, one bringing the luxurious atmosphere of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, with is continous bustling crowd walking along the coveted hall and the others depicting a day on a solitary beach in Ko Phangan, in Thailand.

Anotherview is an art collective founded in 2015 by Marco Tabasso, Tatiana Uzlova and Robert Andriessen. It is represented by Galleria Rossana Orlandi in Milan and Gallery ALL in Beijing and Los Angeles. He has participated in important international contemporary art fairs such as Art Basel 7 Designmiami in Miami and Basel, PAD London, LA ART SHOW in Los Angeles and JIngArt in Beijing. Marco Tabasso was born in Milan (1975). He studied Philosophy at Università Statale di Milano where he “almost” graduated in Moral Philosophy with an essay on the rumenian philosopher Emile Cioran. In 2002 he met Rossana Orlandi who was just opening her gallery and he started working with her as a press office and co-curator for the events. In this period he left his studies at the University with the feeling that he needed more action. Working closely with Rossana Orlandi on building her gallery he has been traveling extensively abroad to forecast young designers, getting in contact with several different personalities of design and dealing with the design media worldwide. In these years he started working on the idea of bringing cutting edge design artists to a wider audience. With this aim he founded in 2012 in the Netherlands BOOO, a company that brought famous designers such Nacho Carbonell, Front Design and Formafantasma into the mass market with a collection of LED designed bulb. At the same time he worked together with the Swedish studio Front Design to develop “Surface Tension Lamp” a technologically advanced Led light where the glass bulb was substituted by a continuously renewing soap bubble. Always fascinated by projects which are blurring the boundaries between art and interior design in 2015 together with Robert Andriessen and Tatiana Uzlova he founded Anotherview.
