The world's smallest gallery inaugurates a new exhibition: showcasing a series of lamps designed exclusively for the gallery by Thelonious Goupil.

Ninth edition of the Summer Escapes summer campuses, organised by Triennale Milano and realised in collaboration with i Ludosofici and Ricetta QuBì. Five weeks of campuses are scheduled, from Monday to Friday; each week involves one of the selected areas of Milan.

An afternoon of activities and games for the whole family. Agora Space is available to families for a time of relaxation, fun and collaborative games.

The works developed specifically for this exhibition include a series of furniture and light objects that explore themes of personal identity and collective memory. The works critically address the canons of Modernism, highlighting its gendered nature and rootedness in a conservative conception of masculinity.

"From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana" presents the fashion house's unique creations on display for the first time. An open love letter to Italian culture, the inspiration of Dolce&Gabbana's spirit since its origins, tracing the extraordinary creative process of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana: from the heart, from which ideas spring, to the hands, the instrument through which they take shape. The exhibition will celebrate the brand as a symbol of Italian style through the dream of Haute Couture, and will explore its unconventional approach to the world of luxury: elegant, sensual and unique, but at the same time fun, irreverent and revolutionary.

For the first time in Italy, a special exhibition project by the emblematic designer Yohji Yamamoto.
Presented by 10 Corso Como and Yohji Yamamoto, the project curated by Alessio de' Navasques presents a dialogue between iconic catwalk garments, recent and future collections in an ascending and immersive climax. 

The exhibition presents to the public the works of the thirty-two finalists of the Officine Saffi Award - a biennial international award dedicated to contemporary ceramics, now in its fifth edition. 
Each of the works on show proposes a reflection on the wealth of meanings found in an open definition of ‘territory’: physical matter, sedimented and in continuous transformation; a place of discovery; subject and object of a knowledge in the process of becoming; narrative device that binds together personal and collective stories, places and cultures.
 

An immersive, site-specific installation that will take visitors into Alessandro Mendini’s subconscious and his creative universe through the visionary eyes of Philippe Starck, one of the most brilliant creators of our time. An impressionistic journey, guided by sounds and images in constant transformation.

The exhibition delves into both Roberto Sabonet's life and his work as a designer, graphic artist and artist tout court, exploring his creative approach and thought as seen in the objects, drawings, paintings and documents on display, most of them from the Archivio Roberto Sambonet. 

On display are the participating and winning projects of the Compasso d'Oro 2024, which turns 70 this year.

In anticipation of Inga Sempé's exhibition La casa imperfetta (The Imperfect House), Triennale Milano presents a meeting with Inga Sempé and Paolo Ulian on the constants of the designer's profession: research, innovation, the study of materials, the relationship with clients and manufacturers, the logic of service, and the desire to respond to a rounded idea of function.
In dialogue with the designers there will also be Chiara Novello and Alessia Pessano, owners of the A/C studio, who will design the exhibition La casa imperfetta (The Imperfect House), curated by Marco Sammicheli, Director of the Triennale Milano Italian Design Museum and moderator of the meeting.
From 16 April, the exhibition will present Sempé's recent work to the public and will stage projects, objects and drawings in a domestic scenario designed by Studio A/C together with Inga Sempé.

A wide-ranging retrospective—produced with Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain—on Alessandro Mendini’s work as an architect, designer, and artist. With over 400 works with different formats, materials and subjects from many private and public collections, the exhibition is structured in different thematic sections. The title of the show, Io sono un drago (I am a dragon), is inspired by one of his most emblematic self-portraits, to emphasize his uniqueness in the world of design, architecture and art.

The exhibition presents the works of the finalists of the 4th Edition of the biennial international art and design glass competition MilanoVetro-35, aimed at young creatives who present works in which the material glass is incorporated.
On the occasion of the inauguration, the prize-giving ceremony will take place, with the awarding of the ‘Aldo Bellini’ prize (the work will become part of the Castello Sforzesco Collections) and prizes in artist residencies and work materials.

The competition aims to valorise the innovative use of the material glass both in the artistic field and in contemporary design.

Carpenters Workshop Gallery presents the sculptural works of Vincenzo De Cotiis in Milan. 
The works on display are inspired by ancient arches and made of rare marble, recycled fiberglass and Murano glass.
In these works, the artist takes a perfectly conceived structure and reworks it in his own image and likeness, revolutionizing the ancient and unchallenged connotations of the arch. 

The exhibition includes more than a hundred photographs by the Ballo+Ballo studio, some design objects on loan from the ADI Design Museum and the Castello Sforzesco's Collections of Applied Art, and some original objects that belonged to the two photographers, as well as classic magazines with which the Ballo collaborated and volumes containing their photographs.

Thanks to the video installations by Studio Azzurro, which dialogue with the photographs and objects on show in the Sala Viscontea, everything that is memory and could not be archived - the photographic processes, the relationship with the design objects on show in the exhibition, the construction of the studio set-ups - becomes present and tangible.

An extensive retrospective dedicated to Gae Aulenti (1927 - 2012), one of the most representative figures of contemporary architecture and design. In a career spanning more than sixty years, the multifaceted designer has touched on numerous fields: from urban-scale design to exhibition design, from landscape architecture to interior design, from furniture design to graphic design and theatre set design.

The exhibition consists of 1:1 scale environments, thanks to the original materials preserved in the architect's Milanese archive, including drawings, photographs and maquettes.

The Museum of Italian Design celebrates the centenary of Triennale Milano with a new path that starts from the foundation of the institution in 1923 and ends with the development of technological, material and social research that has transformed the identity, aesthetics and main features of design Italian. The exhibition itinerary presents over 300 objects from the permanent collection which, when related to the history of the institution, tell the story of Italian design through the reconstruction of some domestic interiors. A journey that culminates in the Design Platform, a space that hosts temporary exhibitions of young designers and new forms.

The exhibition DesignUP - seamless solutions is the new thematic in-depth exploration of the permanent collection of the Compasso d'Oro award that aims to represent each product as the result of a complex system, solutions of continuity in fact, that give iconic Italian design objects their uniqueness. The exhibition project highlights the most specific features of what we now call Made in Italy, and how design culture has permeated all the different stages of the country's development.
