Designers Nikki Alagha

Every design starts with movement and emotion. I believe that the most cherished possessions are those that connect on an emotional level and my goal is to recreate that feeling with every piece I design. My persian background, and being raised by an artist, drive me to never shy away from colours, curves or textures. Hints of gold, patterns or an intricate detail that have been inspired by tradition can always be found in my work.  

After immigrating to Vancouver, Canada in 1997, I was fortunate enough to discover and nourish a passion for the Arts. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from Emily Carr University and after working a few years in the industry, I started my own full time design practice, Nikki Alagha Design. Exploration, emotion and intent are cornerstones of my studio. Creating pieces that are cherished and used, inspired by lived experiences.
