Designers LATOxLATO

LATOxLATO is a design workshop founded by the creative duo Virginia Valentini and Francesco Breganze de Capnist. Wanderers by calling and Italians by birth, Virginia and Francesco, after graduating from Milan Polytechnic, began working in the United States. A married couple, they are partners in work and in life, sharing a deeply creative and inquisitive bond, together with a strong international and multicultural attitude. Their experience in New York has shown that however far from home you go, your work will always be inspired by your roots.

The passion for made in Italy craftsmanship and for Italy's rich artistic and architectural heritage is combined with an international and multicultural attitude.

They founded LATOxLATO in 2018. Each object pays homage to the history of Italian art and architecture and tells the story of the designers’ passion for Italy, its traditional materials and noble artisanal techniques.

The latest collection, launched in 2021, Meridiane, is inspired by the sundials that decorate the façades of numerous Italian palaces and villas. 

LATOxLATO continues the design stories with unusual and truly original viewpoints.
