Patrizia Sandretto - The alliance between art and architecture
Interview with Patrizia Sandretto, president Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo
The history of art is also a history of exhibition spaces, architecture influences the way in which an exhibition is enjoyed, as clearly highlights the difference between the experience of the public in the two headquarters of the Foundation: an eighteenth-century residence in Guarene d'Alba and an architecture built from scratch in the San Paolo district of Turin. As an effect of social distancing, even the art will come out of closed spaces and come into direct contact with the territory; an opportunity to apply the 2% law for the creation of works of art.
