A visual diary without boundaries between work and everyday life, inspired by the idea of life as a “staging.” Set up in the Sala Sottsass, it dialogues with the reconstruction of Casa Lana.

Three protagonists who made Italian design famous around the world: De Pas, D'Urbino, and Lomazzi. Behind the icons that made history—the Blow inflatable armchair, the Joe sofa, the Sciangai coat rack—there is a continuous search to rejuvenate the way we live in our homes, which has its origins in the knowledge of architecture.

The exhibition takes the public beyond the object, on a journey of discovery of a creative process that has suggested new spaces and transformed the way we use domestic spaces.

Fondazione Achille Castiglioni
Piazza Castello, 27

The exhibition-through the story of the displays in the Foundation's rooms-brings out the aspect that many recognize in Achille: playfulness.
From an idea of Giovanna Castiglioni, Achille's youngest daughter, arose the desire to put on display the games of when she was a child. Designer Marco Marzini has created inside the Fondazione Achille Castiglioni a dynamic display with the pleasure of exhibiting unpublished materials, sometimes fragile, unobtainable, sometimes common to other people's childhoods, and will be a real pleasure to find a way, in some cases, for visitors to try out the games.
