INTERNO D. 200
Interno D.200 is the project designed by architect Victor Vasilev for laFeltrinelli.
An installation created in collaboration with Living Divani and Oluce and enriched by Potafiori's green compositions, it is a tribute to the universal writer Fëdor Dostevskij, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth. The project is a metaphorical interpretation of the value of the literary culture of 19th century Russia, perfectly embodied by the works of the Russian author which constitute the leitmotif from which the design concept originates.
In this respect, Interno D.200 becomes an ideal reading place, offering a pure and essential synthesis. It consists of a few elements, chosen in black: two large, comfortable armchairs, ideal for the function, are flanked by freestanding bookcases and served by floor and table lamps, with a series of small tables in different shapes that ideally allow you to rest your books or a drink while you are reading. The perimeter of this room is defined by a large carpet with abstract motifs, also black, while a small red complement breaks the monochrome to become a symbol of the installation, and a tribute to the colour of laFeltrinelli's identity.
The project is further enhanced by the inclusion of small objects, styled by Paola Pastorini, which refer more emphatically to the various titles of the great Russian writer, becoming the ideal setting for immersing oneself in the atmospheres of his novels.
