We speak with hands, not only with words. Bruno Munari, one of the most celebrated designers of the last seventy years, chose the title Supplemento al dizionario italiano (Supplement to the Italian dictionary) for the little book in which he collected a series of gestures typical of the Italian way of “talking with hands”, back in 1958.
After two years of pandemic, of masks and threats coming from the very act
of speaking, we decided to welcome the Salone del Mobile with a celebration of gestures, the protagonists, in fact, of the way we talked in this two crazy years.
