Museo del Design Italiano
The Museum of Italian Design presents a permanent exhibition of the most iconic pieces of Italian design, selected from the 1,600 pieces in the Triennale Milano Collection. The works are accompanied by in-depth information on their history and the context in which they were designed. The chronological span of the Museum goes from 1946 to 1981, thirty years of radical experimentation in which new materials, techniques and aesthetic codes revolutionized the domestic sphere and Italian society. Since July, the Museum has had a new look, with new paths and in-depth information.
