Tube Display - Lambert Kamps
Lambert Kamps presents at Certosa the Tube Display. It is kinetic light artwork that uses compressed air to present texts in a dynamic way. In a flow words arise and are wiped out by the following ones. The display consists of a grid from 104 pneumatic moving light-emitting tubes. They are divided into eight sets of thirteen tubes. Each set can create the letters of the alphabet. They do this by pulling out the light-emitting tubes which are needed to create this specific character. The display was developed and produces to present the work of various poets at the Tschumi Pavilion in Groningen (NL)
