DE AQUATILIBUS
Inspired by the first book of ichthyology De Aquatilibus by Pierre Belon published in 1533 Carnovsky presents an installation at Spazio Diaz with a series of new RGB drawings on the theme of the sea depths and the magnificent creatures that populate them. Fish, mollusks, seahorses, jellyfish and even real or imaginary monsters.
It is an installation that immerses the viewer in an aquatic, multiform and changing world through the use of colored lights that transform the space into a multicolored and dreamlike universe.
It is also an installation that works on softness: softness of the designs above all, for the shades of colors and the style of RGB images for the first time pictorial and then softness of the materials that are fabrics, curtains, carpets.
