Packed Joy

The conceptual artist and performer Antonella Mellini has been invited by Food Design Stories to exhibit at Superstudio Più, for the deep connection between her conceptual art and design.

Her works, the result of years of material experimentation, are unique pieces, packed to encapsulate and radiate positive energy and joy. The packing is conceptual: energy continues to flow, passing through the material and transforming the artwork into a real, tangible, and perceivable experience for those who observe and live it.

An insulating material, chosen in apparent contrast to its original function, becomes the medium through which energy flows. Hidden positive phrases, layered beneath the enamel, create energetic fields ready to be absorbed by those who come into contact with the artwork. The color envelops, the form harmonizes, generating happiness to touch and live.
