Green Island 2025 - Fly Garden
Eco-design and enhancement of craftsmanship, is the project proposed this year by the 24th edition of GREEN ISLAND, during Milan Design Week (April 7/14, 2025). An urban route that promises to light up an area of Garibaldi Station in the Isola District with color. This year's main venue for the event will be the Flying Tiger space, with a special project dedicated to the pollinator garden.
In this new edition, the FLY GARDEN installation is proposed, a garden created especially for the windows of the FLYING TIGER COPENHAGEN concept-store in Garibaldi Station, curated by Claudia Zanfi (Green Island founder).
It is a kind of 'diorama', a small garden for pollinators, in which one can discover a series of handicrafts and design objects made with natural elements, as well as a specific intervention by Atelier del Paesaggio with 3D printed beehives made for solitary bees. This is a journey of eco-design, botany and ever-changing landscapes.
