Tortona Design Week 2025

Design rEvolution

Smart materials, sustainable infrastructures, and design that engages the senses: at Tortona Design Week 2025, the future takes shape through immersive experiences, visionary mobility, and new urban perspectives.

The International Design District

The Tortona Design District is preparing to host an extraordinary edition of Tortona Design Week, which from April 7 to 13, 2025, will transform the neighborhood into an international hub of experimentation and innovation. Under the theme "Design rEvolution: Creative Connections," the event celebrates the power of connections in the design world, bringing together disciplines, ideas, and visions to create a week of discoveries and inspiration.

TDW 2025 is conceived as a dynamic laboratory where design is no longer an isolated act but an ongoing dialogue between technology, creativity, and social impact. Sustainability, new frontiers of aesthetics, and functionality will be the pillars of this evolution, breaking disciplinary boundaries to propose new perspectives and languages.

Exhibitors and Outstanding Projects

At the heart of this creative revolution, several projects will interpret the vision of Design rEvolution, showcasing the most anticipated innovations of the week.

Hilti, a global leader in construction technology, will make its debut at Fuorisalone with the Hilti Hero Hub. This interactive experience blends art, technology, and innovation: cutting-edge tools and immersive installations tell the story of its purpose, "Making Construction Better," celebrating the daily commitment of those who build our future while redefining the construction industry with a sustainable approach. Inspirational talks and hands-on demonstrations will showcase how innovation can transform the world of construction.

Konzepthaus, a reference in creative consulting, will launch the "Haus of Automotive" project, dedicated to the future of mobility. The program includes the CMF Conference on April 7, focusing on the evolution of materials, an in-depth day on UX, Italian design, car culture, and luxury on April 8, followed by exclusive exhibitions from Zeekr and Lotus starting April 9.

Lechler will present "Color Design - The Way of Living Emotions" at Tortona Design Week 2025, a chromatic journey that transforms color into a tool for emotional design. Through five thematic harmonies – Thoughtful Serenity, Natural Balance, Comfort, Enthusiasm, and Fresh Desire – the project stimulates introspection, balance, and social connection. Going beyond simple color harmonization, Lechler explores the power of shades in shaping environments and influencing emotions, offering an immersive experience that leaves a lasting impact on spatial perception.

Ricoh will showcase "Soul and Soil," an engaging interactive exhibition exploring how advanced technologies can enhance physical and mental well-being in workspaces. Visitors will get an exclusive preview of a groundbreaking technology that, leveraging AI, integrates special sensors into any fabric through advanced conductive printing. With this innovation, Ricoh aims to make objects "smart," enabling them to monitor, detect, collect, and process a vast array of data to meet human needs in an innovative and responsible way.

A Circuit Connecting Disciplines and Visions

Tortona Design Week 2025 is a crossroads of creativity, innovation, and research, where international brands and designers converge to explore new perspectives on contemporary design. From innovative materials to immersive installations, from sustainable mobility to the latest frontiers in lighting and fashion, this year’s exhibition circuit embraces multiple disciplines, fostering a dialogue that merges aesthetics, technology, and functionality.

Ombra will experiment with innovative lighting solutions, combining technology and energy efficiency to enhance outdoor spaces, while Make a Mark will introduce an innovative approach to packaging and labeling, focusing on aesthetics and sustainability. The fashion design world will find a contemporary expression with Guess, which will explore the fusion of material research and new forms of stylistic creativity. KIWI Vapor will redefine the concept of vaping, blending sophisticated aesthetics with advanced technological performance. Rafael Lanfranco, through his research on art and visual identity, will reflect on the relationship between design, communication, and contemporary culture, transforming the exhibition space into a visual and conceptual experience.

An immersive and sensory experience will take center stage at Ploom*, where Connected Sensations will transform design into an emotional narrative. Through digital art, interactive effects, and multisensory installations, Ploom will invite visitors to explore the connection between experience and design, focusing on innovation and sensory perception.

A key role will be played by nhow Milano, an icon of the Tortona Design District and part of the lifestyle brand nhow Hotels & Resorts under the international group Minor Hotels. With its eclectic style and constantly evolving artistic installations, nhow Milano reaffirms its role as a creative hub, hosting the official TDW 2025 press conference and presenting outstanding installations.

Completing the exhibition lineup, participants include Decor Lab, Garde Italy, Imperfettolab, Kellogg’s Extra, Kinder Surprise, Lexus, Maybelline New York, Peter Linnett, Ricoh, Switzerland Global Enterprise, and Zip Zone Events, each contributing innovative solutions across sectors ranging from interior architecture to industrial production, applied arts, and technology.

Design and Social Impact: The Project for Benin

Tortona Design Week is not only a hub for innovation and creativity but also a driver of social change. The project Foret des Signes – Conception pour Benin, developed in collaboration with the L’Abbraccio Association, exemplifies this mission with an iconic bench symbolizing connection and sharing. The initiative raises awareness of poverty and social responsibility, demonstrating how design can foster development, with particular attention to the rights of children and women in vulnerable communities.

During Design Week, the project will engage young illustrators in a contest, which in the following months will lead to the creation of visual elements transforming the pediatric hospital in Sokpontà, Benin, into a more welcoming and stimulating space for young patients.

The Design Revolution Starts Here!

Design is no longer just about form and function but about vision, connection, and impact. Tortona Design Week 2025 is where the future takes shape, through design, experimentation, and creativity.

The future is not something to wait for – it is something to design. And it all starts here, at Tortona Design Week 2025.
