Superdesign Show 2025

HAPPINESS. Direction, Challenge, Vision

Can we talk about happiness in difficult times like the one we are living through now? Superdesign Show challenges conventions and says yes, with a dynamic and surprising new edition, curated by Gisella Borioli and with art direction by Giulio Cappellini.

A bold concept as the common thread of the edition that celebrates 25 years of Milan Design Week. HAPPINESS: something we truly need in these uncertain times of post-Covid, wars, economic and geopolitical crises, and a reminder to everyone that this is the most joyful, intriguing, and playful time of the year. The challenge posed to visionary exhibitors was precisely this: to give shape to happiness.

Over 70 designers and creatives will arrive in Milan from 10 countries and 3 continents to showcase more than 20 incredible projects that, once again, make Superdesign Show an unmissable event for everyone looking to explore the last trends and the future visions of design.

A new addition to celebrate the important milestone of the twenty-fifth anniversary is the exhibition "Unforgettable – 25 years of design at Superstudio", which was created as a thank you to the group of companies that represent the excellence of Made in Italy worldwide. Participants include Acerbis, Alcantara, Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, Ceramica Flaminia, De Padova, HENRYTIMI, Icone Luce, MDF Italia, Moroso, Living Divani, Poliform, Poltrona Frau, Technogym, Trussardi Casa, and Zanotta.

Interactive and imaginative projects will be the heart of this edition, with a particular focus on what will happen in the future, sustainability, material innovation, and the union between artisanal techniques and modernism. Among the highlights will be the impressive project by Lexus, which integrates the world of luxury automotive into a dreamy and poetic setting, where the sounds of nature and the heartbeat come together; Geberit's immersive experience, showcasing the magnificent power of water; lunar journeys with FORUM8; as well as the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures in the projects by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA); the vibrant and colorful creativity of Thailand with Slow Hand Design Thailand; Materially with its innovative and sustainable materials, the result of years of research; students from the Istituto Marangoni exploring the relationship between design and technology, creating dynamic environments that meet the emotional and physical needs of users, and much more.

Superdesign Show is the perfect stage to all those projects that have something disruptive to say, offering an expanded panorama full of promises, both for the present, and for the future.
