exhibitions / events / installations / bookshop / bistrot

For Milan Design Week, from April 7 to 13, the ADI Design Museum will be the stage for events and installations designed to explore the world of contemporary design, also through its historical roots. A calendar of appointments, ranging from exhibitions to installations, concerts to talks, will feature various Italian and international protagonists.

During Design Week, the museum’s opening hours will be exceptionally extended until 9:00 PM. Exhibitions and events will be accessible for free, while the museum’s in-house exhibitions will require a regular ticket purchase, available online or on-site.

Best of Both Worlds: ITALY. Art and Design in Italy 1915–2025
April 1 – June 15, 2025

The exhibition traces a century of Italian design, showcasing its impact on contemporary society and its fusion of functionality and aesthetics. Curated by Stefano Casciani with design by Piero Lissoni/GraphX, it highlights the synergy between designers, artists, and industry.

Italian design’s deep ties to social, economic, and artistic fields are explored, celebrating its evolution and lasting influence on global culture.
