Taking You Beyond is the lounge for the IED Alumni in town for the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone. 

Gathering around a van parked in the historic courtyard of IED MIlano's headquarters at Via Amatore Sciesa 4, former students from all over the world will share successes and inspirations, relax in the lounge set up with projects created by IED Alumni and refresh themselves with a drink offered by partner Royal Unibrew. 

Adding even more dynamism to the School's courtyard is a live crocheting performance by the maison de slow-couture founded by Alumnus Italo Marseglia, who will create five unique pieces entirely by hand that will later be sold and the proceeds donated to charity. But that's not the end of the story!

Every day, for one hour a day, media partner Radio Raheem will interview live two former IED students in the original Alumni Unboxed format, aiming to reveal little by little the true soul of the School through the stories of its most celebrated Alumni. The radio stream will be enlivened by a music selection curated by Radio Raheem. Other interviews will be curated directly by Alumni graduated at IED Milano, and will involve pop personalities from the Milan scene such as Giulio Mosca aka @ilbaffogram and Andrea Crespi @andcrespi.

On the evening of June 9, a special music night awaits you in the courtyard of Via Sciesa 4, to celebrate together the winners of a contest for IED Alumni in Sound Design: we will listen to the premiere of P4IED, the EP of Sound Design talents produced by the electronic - techno - idm label Pyteca by Vincenzo Pizzi.
