Brands VISCIO urban design
The Viscio company, which has been operating in the sector for more than 30 years, is located in Apricena, a small town in the province of Foggia, known for being the leading marble basin in southern Italy, as well as the second in Italy after Carrara, for its Madrepietra quarries.
The considerable mining work in that territory also gives rise to a huge amount of waste material, which is properly destined for crushers to recycle aggregates. And it is precisely this material that constitutes more than 70 percent of the mixture for the production of a reconstituted stone by Viscio. Sand and breccia from Madrepietra are mixed with cement and water to make benches, planters, bollards, and litter bins. Recycled material, recovered at km 0, environmentally sustainable and environmentally friendly, fully complying with CAM criteria. The aggregates, appropriately mixed with cement and water, give rise to a granular mixture that is cast in special molds for the realization of various handmade articles.
