Brands Memphis Milano
On a winter night in 1980, Sottsass invited his designers and architects’ colleagues to discuss new ideas. Memphis was born, as Elvis Presley birthplace’s and Menfi, the Ancient Egypt’s capital. In 1981, Arc '74 gallery presented 55 design pieces that started a new global cultural phenomenon.
