Brands MUJI
What is MUJI? MUJI was founded in Japan in 1980.
Its origin was a thorough rationalisation of the production process with the aim of creating simple, inexpensive and good quality products. Specifically, we reviewed the products through three objectives:
MUJI products, born from an extremely rational production process, are succinct but not minimalist in style, they are remarkably pure and fresh.
In remarkable contrast to the embellished artefacts prevalent in the market, MUJI products have gained great appreciation not only in Japan but worldwide. Quality products without brand names
The company's basic principle is to develop new, simple products at reasonable prices, using materials in the best possible way, and always keeping the environmental impact in mind.
Muji continuously introduces high quality, competitively priced items to the market through careful selection of materials, extremely smooth manufacturing processes, and simplified packaging.
Muji currently sells more than 5,000 different products in Japan.
Muji's simple and natural design fits perfectly into today's lifestyle.
Material selection
For Muji, the materials we use to make our products are of utmost importance, which is why their selection is so careful. We look for the best raw materials all over the world. We use many materials, including waste materials that we recycle as soon as possible. The criterion on which we base our selection is always quality.
Packaging
When Muji packs products, we do not try to beautify them, but rather to highlight their natural colour and shape. This is why we place the products in linear and simple containers. True to our philosophy based on simplicity, this approach respects our principles of conserving resources and eliminating waste. This is why all Muji products appear on the shelves of our shops in such simple packaging, with only the price and product information label.
