Brands Sevengrams

Sevengrams is a young all-female roasting company born in Milan in 2009 from the entrepreneurial initiative of Mary, Angelita, Anna and Daniela Mauro, four sisters with a history steeped in coffee. 
In 2008, the family left the company of the same name founded by their grandfather, but their passion for this beverage drove them to continue working in the industry with a totally new project. Thus Sevengrams was born, producing roasted coffee by combining excellence and an innovative spirit. 

In addition to blends and single-origins under the 7Gr. brand, which use the highest quality commercial beans, the company produces fine specialty coffees under the Lot Zero brand, hand-selected and hand-roasted by Chiara Bergonzi, a partner in the team and a leading figure in the world of specialty coffee. 

In 2014, at 9 Valparaiso Street, the first Coffee Studio 7Gr. opened, a cozy store dedicated to coffee lovers where you can find a wide assortment of products and accessories related to this beverage, but not only. 
As in a wine shop you can satisfy curiosity and experience around wine tasting, here you can learn to recognize the quality of coffee, the different methods of preparation, the importance of accessories and the right equipment, all in a warm and informal environment that invites sharing and deepening.The Coffee Studio periodically hosts training courses dedicated to baristas and enthusiasts, cultural events, tastings, exhibitions, and more.
In 2019, the company is opening a production laboratory, the Lot Zero Roastery, adjacent to Coffee Studio 7Gr. and dedicated to the artisanal roasting of "specialty" coffees. Visitors, in this way, can enjoy a total immersive experience in the world of coffee, from green coffee to in-cup extraction.

Thanks to a totally atypical business model, the company has managed to develop a coherent, complete and evolved proposal on coffee, which has allowed it, over the years, to build a solid reputation within the coffee community where Sevengrams is considered as one of the most dynamic realities in the industry, capable of developing highly distinctive tailoring projects.
