Brands Angelo Accardi

Angelo Accardi, an exponent of Pop Surrealism, inaugurated the "Misplaced" series in the early 2000s in which the ostrich - decontextualized - becomes the symbol of the indefinite fear theorized by Bauman in the essay "Liquid Fear".

From the very beginning, the artist has addressed an international audience and since 2017 - thanks to the agreement with Eden Gallery - has consolidated his presence in the most influential places between Miami Art Basel, London, New York, Dubai and Tel Aviv. After participating in the Italian Pavilion of the 54th Venice Art Biennale, in 2024 he is present at the 60th edition inside the Cameroon Pavilion. In conjunction with the Biennale, he inaugurates the exhibition "Icarus' Dream" in the entrance hall of Palazzo Donà Dalle Rose. In the same year, one of her works, Violet, is featured on the cover of the Atlas of Contemporary Art (Giunti), in the edition curated by the Corporate Patron of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. On March 22, in the Sala Romanelli of the Royal Palace of Caserta, she presents “Crash”, an artistic event involving other artists and performers on the theme of female emancipation.
