Designers Loredana Giulioli

Loredana Giulioli lives and works in Milan where, after years of creative direction in events and communication, she studied weaving at Paola Besana's school and began embroidering using a sewing machine. The embroidery with which she experiments with contemporary forms of illustration is free motion, a technique where embroidery is created freehand with a sewing machine. The seam becomes a graphic sign that creates drawings and words and the fabric a canvas to illustrate.
