Designers Christophe De la Fontaine
Christophe de la Fontaine is co-founder and owner of Dante – Goods and Bads, GmbH
a German-based but internationally renowned furniture and home accessories brand,
with his partner, contemporary artist Aylin Langreuter. He started his education as a sculptor in Luxemburg completing his studies with a degree in industrial design from ABK-Stuttgart, taught by Richard Sapper. After a working at London-based Therefore-Product Design Consultant and Lissoni Associati in Milan, he headed the design department at the studio of Patricia Urquiola until 2010. He has worked independently as a product designer ever since receiving numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Award, the Good Design Award and the iF GOLD DESIGN AWARD while being listed by Wallpaper* among the world’s 100 best designers. Since 2018 he is professor of industrial design at the state academy of fine arts in Stuttgart.
