Designers Richard Yasmine

Richard Yasmine is a Lebanese interior architect and product designer. His creative world is inspired by life, emotions, and the human body: physiology and needs, but also focuses on internal chaos combined with a certain innate sensitivity. Sometimes extreme and provocative or unexpected, but still minimal, bold, and straightforward, he never tends to identify the difference between reality and imagination.

His use of imagery creates intriguing and controversial design objects. In his works he incorporates an innovative approach while at the same time sticking to his culture and tradition, integrating Middle Eastern and specifically Lebanese knowhow and spirit within the recipe of each of his products. He collaborates with local craftsmen, to reveal the oriental feel through an extravagant aspect, enhancing the union between tradition and new technologies, by keeping his signature identity that ranges from the absurd to the minimal, with a touch of fantasy.
