Designers Paolo Conte

Designer from Acqui Terme graduated from IED Torino, with experience in both studios and companies. He currently collaborates with Marcantonio's studio and continues his activity as a freelance product designer. 

In June 2022 he was selected by SaloneSatellite with his first personal project, ASH. It all started during the Covid pandemic, almost 3 years ago, in which, in addition to the various consequences that arose, Paolo suffered lockdown at a psychological level. ASH has been his therapy and making design has become his daily wellness pill.

ASH is in between an end and a new beginning, a folkloristic reference to the phoenix, that rises from its own ashes. With ASH, Paolo transformed his memories and experiences into personal expressive projects.
His first self-produced collection includes: BIG Furniture, Anachronism Cabinet and The Rising Lamp. In October 2022 The Rising Lamp was part of the exhibition “No Space For Waste”, organized for the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven by the Isola collective.
