Designers Margherita Caspani

Margherita Caspani is a Milanese illustrator graduated in Illustration and Animation from IED Milano. Her illustrations are awarded in competitions in Italy, the US and China. Among her best-known clients: Acqua di Parma, LaFeltrinelli, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Hoepli and FuoriSalone. She is often told that her inner world is dreamily ironic: her job is to tell it. 

For the project People you meet, exhibited in IED House during Fuorisalone, she worked together with Federico Porta, a young luthier from Varese who creates musical instruments under the name "Abyss." A student at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan, Federico blends elements of design with the art of violin making, creating instruments that are unique in both sound and appearance.
