Designers Guenn Ramon Gustina

Curaçao born and bred.
 Guenn Ramon Gustina is a poet and a sculptor, working with performance in site-specific installations.
 Gustina trained in youth theatre, and he digs his inspiration and methodologies from personal experience, language, unresolved discussion, and construction. In his practice, he attempts to generate a forum through image-making and sculptural gestures. He is intrigued by the tension of addressing what’s hidden between the lines. His work operates within a conceptual framework of power relations within stubborn social structures. History, memory, and mechanisms of coping are crucial to Gustina’s work.
