Designers Sali e Tabacchi

Sali e Tabacchi Journal is an annual publication and creative studio that explores the relationship between the creative arts and Italy’s unknown rituals, habits and traditions. Founded by journalist and content strategist Elisa Carassai and art director and graphic designer Leonardo Pellegrino, Sali e Tabacchi Journal is much more than a simple coffee table book. It is an anthropological exploration of the intangible and tangible cultural heritage that defines Italy. Our research work aims to become an archive of documentation of important moments in history that helps preserve and perpetuate the identity of a people. Supporting our mission helps regeneration and restoration involving local communities, and as an engine of social and economic development. It is a sustainable act of promoting knowledge and diversity of cultural expression.
