Designers Giuseppe Bavuso

GIUSEPPE BAVUSO (1959), architect and designer, lives and works in Seregno. His designs combine a severe, almost minimalist line with immense technical research, through the skilful use of high-tech and innovative materials. At the outset of his career, he was involved in the design of major projects in a variety of sectors, ranging from architecture to the interior design of large communal spaces, the automotive industry and the design of train and sleeping-car interiors. He has produced designs for biomedical equipment producers through his own Product Design firm since 1986. The influence of Bruno Munari, a great intellectual with an unrivalled gift for synthesis, has been crucial since the start of his working life. The insights provided by this fundamental association profoundly affected his approach to the profession and to Design itself. In the furnishing industry he works with various companies of consolidated international importance as designer and Art Director, providing total management of the product, from conception to engineering through to communications.
