Designers Vito Colacurcio
Class of '86. He studied fashion design in Rome and took his first steps in the fashion world, between Milan and Paris, alongside master Romeo Gigli. Fascinated by the 'timeless' power of industrial design, he decided to put down roots in Milan and began studying architecture. It was in April 2014 that he presented his first patent for technology applied to the tanning world, a solution soon to be distributed "world wide" by a well-known French avant-garde brand, still in production today. Curiosity is high and the desire to experiment expands into new categories. He starts working on fittings, interiors, industrial projects, supplies. He develops simple, practical, surprising objects; many Italian and foreign partners are involved. In 2016, he patented modular frames 'for awkward surfaces', a project with a democratic vision for large-scale distribution, still in production today. In the meantime, his passion for fashion remains alive, he approaches the artisan leather goods sector, a return to his origins, and it is there that he finds his specialisation. Numerous collaborations and challenges are now open in partnership with luxury brands.
