Designers Alessandra Pallotta
Moving casually between art, sensory design and food culture, Alessandra Pallotta conceives unique projects in which concept, materiality and sensory experience are deeply connected. Alessandra Pallotta thinks of food as an ephemeral material used to create projects that activate visual, tactile, olfactory and gustatory experiences, as well as reflections on the production, consumption and cultural implications of food itself.
Involved in the European contemporary art world for more than 10 years, Alessandra has applied practical and visual research through the curation and conception of edible projects for important brands, organisations and events. Her practice involves the use of coloured matter that plays on the subtle line of truth or fiction through its transformation.
