Designers Mutoid Waste Company
The Mutoid Waste Company, a collective of artists founded in London in the mid-1980s and later relocated to Emilia Romagna, became famous for the production of gigantic steampunk artworks called "Mutoids." The collective's name is inspired by a British TV series where Mutoids were reconditioned human beings devoid of personality, a universe that influenced the production of original and scenic sculptures - sometimes mobile - used in performances and exhibitions recognized and appreciated internationally.
