Designers Liisi Beckmann

Liisi Meronen Beckmann, born in Karelia (Finnland), attended the Institute of industrial Art in Helsinki (pupil of Tapio Wirkkala and Ilmari Tapiovaara), a course in graphic art in Germany, courses in drawing at the Brera Academy in Milan. She participated in countless collective exhibitions and her design objects have been displayed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

For Zanotta she designed the armchair Karelia (1966), the bench and the table Arcibaldo (1976).
