Designers DONTSTOP Architettura
DONTSTOP architettura is an architecture studio founded in Milan in 2011 by Michele Brunello and Marco Brega. The structure of the studio is divided into three departments: ARCHITECTURE, EXHIBITION, RESEARCH. Each of them was built thanks to the contribute of an international team of architects, designers, urban planners and a wide network of collaborators.
Among the most recent projects in the extensive portfolio of DONTSTOP architettura, there are: the redevelopment of the San Siro Stadium; the construction of three new buildings for FC Internazionale in Appiano Gentile; the Spice Cluster and the collaboration for the Austrian pavilion at EXPO 2015; numerous residential projects such as "Abitare in Maggiolina", the Parco dell'Abitare district in Lodi and prefabricated wooden social and eco-compatible housing models; urban interventions including the new Master Plan of the Municipality of Pordenone and "Venice Opportunty Lab", a strategic project for sustainable tourism development in Venice. There are many exhibition, temporary installations and set design projects for private clients and institutions such as Beijing Design Week, Suzhou Design Week, Salone del Mobile in Milan and La Biennale di Venezia. Participation in the latter awarded the studio with the ADI Design Index Award 2015 and the nomination by Domus as one of the best of 2014 for the "Across Chinese Cities Beijing" project. Furthermore, DONTSTOP architettura is also involved in research taking part in seminars, workshops and international academic debates on urban regeneration and resilience topics.
