My name is Aurora Ponisio, I am an architecture student at Politecnico of Milan and I have always been fascinated by photography. Ever since I got my hands on a camera, I have tried to capture an image, an idea, a concept, that could somehow be a symbol, example, or exception of the world around me.

My studies in architecture and design have certainly directed my gaze towards the world in some way, and every shot of mine tells a story, whether it's the story of a building standing against the sky or the tale of a life unfolding in the crowded streets of the city, or even an object that in a specific space and at a specific moment becomes unique and takes on a new meaning.

Therefore photography is for me the tool to create an image that aims to intrigue the observer and convey an idea. The emotion we feel when looking at an image hides the will of the one who took it, and this is what I seek when I aim my lens at the world, to create an image capable of sharing my perspective of the world.
