Temporary, transferable, sustainable, reversible and... the exact opposite

The exhibition stems from a reflection on the theme of installations, stage sets and in general all those temporary devices that appear to us, due to their characteristics of transportability and adaptability, as true paradigms of contemporary design.

In the open portion of the gallery, a large new installation by Marco De Santi entitled Paradiso :mondo triste , a scenic device reflecting the hiatus between nature and man-made space. The installation, with its raised walkway, offers a viewpoint on the models realised by the students of the Milan Polytechnic and exhibited within the exhibition.
