The platform founded by Joseph Grima and Valentina Ciuffi will take part in the 2023 edition of Miami Art Week, from December 5 to 9.
Alcova is one of the most interesting destinations of Milan Design Week, as evidenced by the five successful editions in which unexpected places in the city have been unveiled to the public, with the participation of emerging designers, established brands and institutions. From the Giovanni Cova & G panettoni factory to NoLo via the Ex Macello di Porta Vittoria, which during the 2023 edition explored different and complementary directions of design practice by presenting more than 70 projects.
The platform founded by Joseph Grima of Space Caviar and Valentina Ciuffi of Studio Vedèt today expands its boundaries and announces a special edition that will take shape as part of Miami Art Week 2023, Dec. 5-9. An event that testifies to the continued growth and evolution of the project, once again with a focus on promoting the best of international contemporary design.
"We are excited to bring Alcova to Miami, one of the most important international platforms for art and design," said Valentina Ciuffi and Joseph Grima. "We are convinced that Miami's unique urban fabric, rich with traces of a dynamic and vibrant architectural history, is the ideal place to create a hub that can foster meaningful connections and interactions between exhibitors and visitors. Alcova Miami will offer a fresh perspective and opportunities to showcase new practices in a city that has always embraced a free-for-all approach to design."
