Shadows&poems exhibition by the duo ELIURPI

In the heart of the old city of Barcelona, ELIURPI's headquarters are located in a historic building in the Gothic Quarter. Founded by Elisabet Urpí and Nacho Umpiérrez, this studioo is the red thread running through every element, literally: all their pieces are imagined and designed from a simple straw thread.

The purity of the lines, the light installations, the sculptural objects that maintain a functional dimension, are born in this small workshop that has recovered the traditional technique of sombrería, the manufacture of Spanish sombreros.

The forms and poetry of ELIURPI teach us that, if the rules of the game are narrow and inadequate, nothing prevents us from inventing another world made to measure for us. Just one of many, infinite possible worlds.
