Bar Unikko: a takeover of a Milanese cafè
Finnish design house Marimekko celebrates the 60th anniversary of its most iconic print design Unikko at Milano Design Week with Bar Unikko, a conceptual takeover of a Milanese café created in collaboration with Apartamento, widely recognized as today's most influential interiors publication.

BORN IN OASI ZEGNA
An immersive installation will occupy the spaces of the ZEGNA’s showroom to narrate its commitment to the community and the environment, offering the Design Week audience the opportunity to fully experience Oasi Zegna and the new book dedicated to it.
Through an itinerary that interweaves art and nature, visitors will be able to walk through the lush vegetation of the forest and interact with the stories and images that bring the the pages of the book to life. At the heart of this tale is a strong sense of responsibility towards the community and the territory in which ZEGNA operates.

WRITING LIFE
miu miu announces its first literary club, two days focused on the work of Sibilla Aleramo and Alba De Céspedes, with conversations, live performances and entertainment. The initiative, which is held at the Circolo Filologico in Milan on 17 and 18 April from 3.00pm to 9.00pm, draws inspiration from the precious legacy of literary salons and communities of European artists to act as a mirror to the lives of women of the past and present through the written word.

On The Rocks
Bottega Veneta partners with Cassina and Fondation Le Corbusier on a large-scale installation around the LC14 Tabouret Cabanon stool, continuing the story from the brand’s Winter 24 show.

vetsak x ASPESI
Together with ASPESI, the Italian heritage house, vetsak, the German next-gen furniture design brand creates a distinct capsule collection whichrepresents a true fusion of fashion and furnishing: vetsak dressed in ASPESI. The capsule consists of three sofas, each completed by an accompanying blanket, small and larger-than-life toys and pillow sets. vetsak’s iconic modular sofa and ASPESI’s celebratednylon parachute puffers fuse into 3 distinct colour worlds.

Prada Frames: Being Home
The symposium, curated by Formafantasma, is going to explore the complex interaction between design and the environment. Prada Frames will include contributions from Paola Antonelli, Brigitte Baptiste, Kate Crawford, Jack Halberstam, OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen, Anna Puigjaner, Alice Rawsthorn, Isabella Rossellini, and Françoise Vergès among others. The event takes place from Sunday, April 14, through Tuesday, April 16, at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.

PROTOTYPE RESEARCH_SERIES 08_MULTIAXIAL PROJECT
The Stone Island Prototype Research_Series are limited editions, by nature. They feature garments in fabrics and/or treatments born from research and experimentation processes that have not yet been industrialized.

AAS:object:project
Marsèll announces its upcoming collaboration with Berlin-based architecture studio Gonzalez Haase AAS on AAS:object:project, a solo exhibition to debut during Milan Design Week 2024 at Marsèll’s Via Paullo showroom. Renowned for their innovative approach to design, Gonzalez Haase AAS will captivate audiences with their unique blend of architecture, scenography and lighting.

Eden Unveiled
Marella, a contemporary clothing brand belonging to the Max Mara Fashion Group, takes part in Milan Design Week 2024 with an installation by Sicilian artist Domenico Pellegrino. The installation will illuminate the windows and the interior of the Marella flagship store in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, also covering the outdoor area in front with green. The work, strongly inspired by the myth of the birth of Spring as a universal and regenerative force, is characterised by wood and luminaria installations coloured by acrylic enamels, a distinctive trait of the artist.

Cracking art
For the first time, Coccinelle is attending Milano Design Week in partnership with the artistic movement Cracking Art. One of the most recognizable subjects of Cracking Art's repertoire, the rabbit, becomes the absolute protagonist of the project that transcends the boundaries of traditional leather craftsmanship. By incorporating organic shapes that are more than just functional, it seamlessly merges the worlds of fashion and art.

Birkenstock Studio
An exhibition and installation that will show the public for the first time the brand's many highlights and most famous collaborations. In addition to the models, samples, sketches, prints and designs that make up the brand's DNA, the public will be able to enjoy a variety of sensory experiences, including a barefoot trail on sand and grass. On 20th and 21st April, the trainer restorer and creative Jacopo De Carli will hold workshops open to the public: users who register via this link and bring their own pair of BIRKENSTOCK will be able to participate in a customisation workshop, lasting one and a half hours, guided by the creator.

Saint Lauren - "Gio Ponti - Villa Planchart"
Saint Lauren presents "Gio Ponti - Villa Planchart", an exhibition curated by Anthony Vaccarello which features an exclusive collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and the Fundación Anala y Armando Planchart. "Gio Ponti - Villa Planchart" showcases an exceptional collection of plates originally designed by Gio Ponti in 1957 for Villa Planchart in Venezuela.
