Design Campus
The Design Campus summer program is a "School of Utopias", which tries to explore complex problems in a visionary and collaborative way. This year it is entitled Waterschool: a Speculation in Four Seasons and is divided into 6 different one-week workshops with respectively: Annemarie Piscaer, Matter+Meta, Studio Makkink & Bey and Matilde Patuelli and Roberta Di Cosmo, Johanna Seeleman, Jacques Abelman and with Francesco Apuzzo /raumlaborberlin. The location is super fascinating, it is the Pillnitz Palace & Park, originally designed for the Saxon Electors as a fantasy world, a garden full of entertainment that has provided inspiration to writers, artists, thinkers and musicians for centuries.

Another Summer School
In Cazzago Brabbia, a small town surrounded by lakes in the Varese area, an "alternative" summer school will be held, which aims to start and stimulate a process of reimagining the area of the former clay kiln as a new public industrial park to donate to the community. 4 one-week workshops that follow one another throughout the summer with tutors who come from the design scene from all over Italy: Duccio Maria Gambi, KOSMOS, Studio GISTO, Inge Vinck, AMArchitectrue, O A S I architects and Paolo Bianco. ANOTHER SUMMER SCHOOL will provide a real laboratory where every type of machine will be available to students and teachers to experiment with techniques and tools.

Domaine de Boisbuchet
IMAGO: THE WORLD WE SEE is the title of the 2024 edition of the design workshops in a beautiful castle in the west of central France. The theme is that of imagination, which is part of the concept of image (now increasingly investigated in its boundary between "natural" and "manipulated") to arrive at reflecting on design as a discipline that observes, examines and condenses perspectives and requirements relevant to the in order to develop sensitive and intelligent perspectives for a better future. Every year professionals and students go to the Chateau to experience new design practices together with successful international designers during the summer workshops. Some of the names of the many tutors this year are: Lex Pott, Space Caviar, Park Associati, Fango, Jorge Penadés, Marlène Huissoud, Aesop, Studio Ossidiana.

AA summer school: At Play
The AA Summer School 2024 will explore architecture at play: moments when the discipline shows its sense of humor, experiments with content, style or format, when it breaks established rules and enters the realms of madness and delirium. The three-week program in July will unfold through the streets of London between play areas, parks and urban spaces, pubs, clubs, gardens and restaurants that are shaped with the lightness of offering different forms of entertainment. Students will work collaboratively with a group of tutors to install a final project that will be exhibited at the AA.

Reuse the Ruin
Ten days in July in Florence for the fourth edition of Reuse the Ruin - Summer Architecture Workshop, an intensive summer course on the topic of architectural restoration, from theory to details. It is a multidisciplinary experience designed to provide a complete picture, with lessons and reviews from international architects, such as H Arquitectes, Carles Enrich, Zamboni Associati, Markus Scherer, Assemble Studio and Università Italiana Professori, and a design studio applied to reconstruction of the Rocca di Sala (Pietrasanta, Lucca), with inspection and final public exhibition of the restoration projects.

Bosco Colto
The 2024 edition of the summer campus is dedicated to the practice of RE-ASSEMBLAGE. The Campus works on different ways of learning from the forest, returning to discover and inhabit the materials and experimenting with some work tools, through construction activities in the field. The workshop is organized in workshops led by experts from different fields of planning (architecture, art, landscape, design) which are intertwined with workshops led by specialists in writing, graphics, web, video, photography, artificial intelligence. Meals are organized by the Nutrimenti convivial cuisine laboratory for a very natural all-round experience. Tutors are Studio Albori, Antonio Scarponi, Beatrice Fontana, Rita Elvira Adamo, Carlo Amico, Alice Piciocchi, Nicola Depoutot, Michele Russo, Salvatore Lacagnina, Jacopo Leveratto and Andrea Botto, in addition to several visiting lecturers.
