Postcard from Antonio Aricò

— 18 July 2024

Crystal clear Apulian sea, gastronomic delights and well-deserved relaxation.

Porto Badisco (Lecce) is one of the most evocative inlets on the Adriatic coast: a rocky and wild coast, where the only way to enter the water is to dive.
Porto Badisco is "Bar da Carlo". Meeting point at all hours of the day, it is an iconic place, which boasts a hundred-year history managed from generation to generation. A bar counter, a local cured meats and cheeses counter and a delicatessen counter with typical dishes.

Things to absolutely do in Porto Badisco:
- fill a sandwich (typical with mortadella and provola) and go down to the sea, where you can enjoy a nap in the shade in front of the sea with the cicadas in the background - if you can find room.
- drink an ice coffee with almond milk and then dive into that blue sea.

Francesca took the photo for me and wrote about this very beautiful place!

Kisses!
