Design culture and circular economy at the heart of this new digital project, which enhances designers, brands, galleries, innovation and icons in an unprecedented mix.
On September 23, a new platform dedicated to design enthusiasts has been launched: Designheroes. Its goal is to promote design culture, adopting an increasingly circular approach to objects and products. Designheroes brings together designers, iconic brands and galleries in a curated space, enhancing authentic and original design, capable of maintaining value over time. Elements such as innovation, aesthetics and deep meaning remain central, making objects protagonists of our shared cultural heritage. Design classics, appreciated for their timeless beauty and the stories they tell, retain an enduring value, both ideal and economic.
Designheroes connects, in a virtual platform, a heterogeneous community united by a deep belief in the transformative power of design, capable of creating a more sustainable world. Designers, architects and creatives are not only authors, but visionaries who transform products into lasting cultural artifacts. Companies are also part of this community, promoting design as a strategic investment, pushing the boundaries of innovation and craftsmanship to create the classics of the future. Galleries and auction houses, custodians of design culture, support the circular economy through the curation, valuation and resale of design classics, enabling their continued use. Designheroes also welcomes private and commercial clients, who can invest in quality and authenticity, appreciating the value retention, longevity and timeless appeal of design classics.
Designheroes offers a unique digital experience, combining the elements of a showroom, a museum and an educational resource. The objects are carefully selected and the online collection is finely curated. The platform features design classics from leading galleries and auction houses around the world, along with expert valuations, contacts with selected top brands and dealers, and specialist auction houses. Users can explore 150 years of design history with over 84,000 objects, browse rare historical catalogues and discover products from the past.
The founders of Designheroes, Nils Becker and Susanne Fritz, have 25 years of experience in creating digital platforms in the field of design and architecture. Nils co-founded Stylepark and Architonic, while Susanne is the owner of Susanne Fritz Architects. “Designheroes is not just an information platform, but a true cultural initiative,” explains Nils Becker, founder and CEO. “I am convinced that only authentic design has the power to enrich our lives, shape our culture, preserve our traditions, create lasting value and contribute to a more sustainable future.” Co-founder Susanne Fritz adds: “Sustainable architecture and design unite culture, ecology and economy. Our customers’ decisions should be based on these three pillars. Designheroes helps them find products that meet these principles.”
