It reads Design for Commons and is the title of the thematic hat of the new master's degrees of IED, the European Institute of Design, which were born this October. Design for Commons literally means "design for common goods", where commons is a very specific concept that indicates modes of action that put the interests of the community first. Among the guests there is also one of the reference thinkers in relation to commons, Massimo De Angelis, but also many others: Emanuele Coccia, Beatrice Leanza, Yuri Kaban, Simon Beckerman, Suor Giuliana Galli, Michael Kaethler, Angela Rui and others. Host is the curator Matilde Losi.

Gae Aulenti’s Legacy
The monographic exhibition that Triennale Milano has dedicated to the architect and designer Gae Aulenti is accompanied by a podcast series that explores her impact on the world of design. The podcast, curated by Alice Rawsthorn, tells the story of Gae Aulenti through the voices of friends, curators and international architects who knew her personally or through her work. The five episodes focus so far on Gae Aulenti’s relationship with architecture, design, art, performance, and on her life and career. The protagonists of the various episodes are: Paola Antonelli, Farshid Moussavi, Antonia Jannone, Ludovico Einaudi, Stefano Boeri.

Arganto
Arganto is a six-part podcast that tells the life and work of Gabriele Devecchi, an artist, designer, architect, goldsmith and teacher who lived in Milan from 1938 to 2011, and who was among the co-founders of Gruppo T. This project, created in 2023, was the first podcast included among the editorial projects promoted by the Italian Council to promote Italian artists of the last 50 years on the international scene, and was imagined by the Archivio Gabriele Devecchi, which took this opportunity to experiment with a new way of telling the story of this author.

Sofa, Looking for Togo
How did this sofa become such an iconic piece of design? Why does everyone want it? What is its secret? Sofa, looking for Togo is an adventure and an investigation - conducted by journalist Aurélie Sfez and edited by Charles de Cillia - to try to understand a little better the worldwide success of Togo, the sofa model designed for Ligne Roset in 1973 by Michel Ducaroy. The podcast therefore explores this project also from a social point of view, highlighting the phenomenon that some design pieces can trigger.

This is one of the most successful podcasts in the design industry and has now reached 116 episodes. Design Better co-hosts Eli Woolery and Aarron Walter explore the intersection of design, technology, and the creative process through conversations with thought-provoking guests across a variety of creative fields.
