Milan and Turin Unite for Design Week: Introducing MiTo Design Connections

Lifestyle — 19 February 2025

A platform designed for international exhibitors and professionals, offering hotel accommodations in Turin, just 35 minutes by train from Rho Fiera.

As Design Week approaches, scheduled from April 7 to 13, 2025, a new project is making its debut, involving Turin in supporting the major Milanese event. Initiated by Unione Industriali Torino and the Turin Chamber of Commerce, MiTo Design Connections takes shape as an initiative aimed at fostering relationships between the two cities and businesses, providing hospitality and accommodation services for exhibitors and visitors of Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone.

Considering that the railway service connects Turin's Porta Susa station to Rho Fiera in about 40 minutes, MiTo Design Connections offers attendees and professionals of both events the opportunity to stay in Turin with access to reserved hotel accommodations from April 4 to 20, as well as the possibility of using various venues for organizing corporate events.

Conceived by Turin-based architects Laura Bongiovanni and Elena Ferrero, the initiative is carried out in collaboration with Salone del Mobile.Milano and Fuorisalone, the Tourism and Culture Group of Unione Industriali Torino, Assohotel, and Federalberghi Torino, with the support of the Turin Chamber of Commerce and under the patronage of the Piedmont Region, Turismo Torino e Provincia, and Politecnico di Torino.
