BMW CE 02 is a true design statement that combines innovative aesthetics, advanced technology, and a sustainable soul
The invitation is clear: jump in and connect with the city in a new, smart, and sustainable way. During Milan Design Week 2025, themed “Connected Worlds", BMW Motorrad takes urban mobility to the next level with the BMW CE 02. At the House of BMW in Via Manzoni 41, Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, a fleet of these innovative electric scooters will be available for creators, enthusiasts, and friends of the brand, offering a firsthand experience of the connection between technology, sustainability, and design. It’s an invitation to explore the multiple worlds of Fuorisalone with a smart, dynamic, and sustainable riding style.
More than just a scooter, the BMW CE 02 is a true design statement. It represents BMW Motorrad’s response to the demands of contemporary urban mobility, combining innovative aesthetics, advanced technology, and a sustainable soul. Minimalist lines, clean geometries, and high-tech details make it stand out both on city streets and within the spaces of MDW. Its compact frame, wide wheels, and futuristic silhouette make it instantly recognizable, while the interplay of colors and materials expresses a strong visual personality.
With the CE 02, technology is at the heart of the riding experience: the TFT display provides all the essential information, while smartphone connectivity allows users to manage smart functions and monitor the vehicle’s performance in real time. The BMW CE 02 embodies the spirit of Milan Design Week, blending form and function, and positions itself as a lifestyle element for those who want to experience the city with style and responsibility. At Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, visitors will not only discover the CE 02 up close but also have the chance to test ride it, becoming part of an experience that celebrates the future of mobility.
In addition, BMW Group Design will present the “Vibrant Transitions” installation at Salone del Mobile, taking place from April 8 to 13, 2025. Visitors, welcomed inside the historic Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, will be invited to explore the thematic worlds of BMW and MINI through three distinct yet connected journeys. Openness and personalization are the key themes of the BMW Group presence at this year’s Salone del Mobile.
“Our approach to mobility design is becoming increasingly broad and diversified,” says Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design. “Colors, materials, light, sound, geometry, and digital experiences intertwine in every project to create engaging and emotional customer experiences. In this spirit, our ‘Vibrant Transitions’ installation offers visitors at Salone del Mobile inspiring insights.”
As they enter Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, visitors will have the freedom to choose their own path. Color-coded corridors lead to different thematic areas, using translucent slatted structures to create unique visual perspectives. “Vibrant Transitions” explores light, color, geometry, and permeability, showcasing how BMW Group is embracing openness and the evolution of design as it enters a new era.
