Carried out in collaboration with the UN Office for Partnerships, it aims to identify and accelerate the next generation of creative talents who demonstrate awareness, technologies and solutions for social and sustainable development.
Swarovski Foundation Institute: Creatives for Our Future is the name of the global grant programme designed by the Swarovski Foundation with advice from the United Nations Office. The aim is to train the future generation of creative leaders in the field of sustainability.

It starts with a four-week call for applications open to creatives from all over the world, aged between 18 and 25, coming from disciplines such as fashion, design, art, architecture, science, technology and engineering. Candidates must demonstrate a strong interest in the subject matter, exemplary creative potential and mastery of technologies or solutions for sustainable development. The Swarovski Foundation thus aims to attract a pool of candidates from all over the world to bring novelty to the creative process.

The authors of the selected projects will be awarded financial support to promote their ideas and devise new scenarios for a better world.
The funding will be combined with an educational programme in collaboration with top international institutions, tailored mentorship and networking connections with relevant industries under the guidance of the Swarovski Foundation. The projects will also be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in September 2021.

Applications will be accepted until 9 April. The full list of mentors, applicants and masters will be made public on 21 April, coinciding with the United Nations World Day of Creativity and Innovation. Further details on the programme, application process and grants are available here.
