Originally from Bordeaux, Nathalie Du Pasquier has lived and worked in Milan since 1979. A founding member of Memphis, for which she designed fabrics, carpets, furniture and objects, she has made painting her main activity since 1987. Andrea Branzi says of her: "Her paintings, light and wise, remind me of songs that can be played without accompaniments, because they have no weight and do not need to explain anything; everything is clear and simple like art when it has no weight, but only rigour and wisdom...".
